Beginning of the Journey

I took inspiration for the title of this blog from one of my favorite movies, "Emperor's New Groove", that I've probably seen over 30 times (no exaggeration) and have memorized every single line. Just fyi :)

Here is some information about the family and house:

The Nisiama house is a large 4 storey house with a hall, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. It has six bedrooms and five bathrooms. There is also a patio and an office.

Living with you is your host father; Ruben (born in 1965); your host mother Ninoska (born in 1970); and their children, Olenka (born in 1999) and Marko (born in 2001) who are both students. Also living with the family is Nayda (born in 1993) who helps run the household.

I will be working at Hospital Antonio Lorena in Cusco. 
Antonio Lorena is located in the district of Santiago in Plaza Belen in the centre of Cusco. It is one of the biggest hospitals in Cusco and aims to provide services to those who do not have the means to pay for medical services. Within this placement there are a number of specialities available, such as gyneacology, dermatology, pediatrics, endocrinology, surgery, cardiology, urology, etc. In the area of emergency there are also the specialities of: trauma, gyneacology, pediatrics, surgery. It is also a hospital where many Health Centres send their patients in need of major surgery, big emergencies and specialities. There are 80 doctors, 150 nurses, and about 80 beds at the hospital.
